Tafe Gippsland and Aussie Broadband facilitate IT training

Tafe Gippsland is teaming up with Aussie Broadband to promote the return of information technology training.

An Accredited Vocational Training Course – Certificate III in Information Technology – will be a nine-month course starting in April at the Yallourn campus of Tafe Gippsland.

Coffee Gippsland director of educational services Linda Austin praised the training course and the partnership with Aussie Broadband to support students who enroll in the vocational training course.

“This is a free Tafe course offered face-to-face with an online day, and it focuses on customer service, web development, computer software programming and editing, with graduates most likely to be highly valued and sought after by employers.”

Austin says the institute was very fortunate to have a partner to support this professional training component.

“We are also delighted to continue to partner with Tafe Gippsland as they expand their IT offerings and help IT students see what they can be.”

Morrisey says graduates of the courses will be able to help different industries.

“We are delighted that Tafe Gippsland is embarking on this journey with their Cert III in Computer Science and, in our increasingly digital world, computer literacy has never been more important in Gippsland and in the business environment. national and international digital learning.”
