The iFarmiVote election toolkit has been revamped
With your southeast regional farm newspaper, I’m Haylie Shipp. It is the agricultural information network.
The American Farm Bureau Federation has revamped its iFarmiVote election toolkit for the 2022 election cycle. AFBF Director of Grassroots Program Development Tom Donnelly says the toolkit gives you all the information you need. need before voting…
“Every election year, farmers and ranchers turn out and vote in large numbers and we want to continue doing so in 2022. So we have released our new iFarmiVote 2022 election resource. It is a resource available to everyone online and can be found at fb.org/vote. It contains information on candidates, where to vote, how to vote, postal voting and early voting.
Donnelly says it’s especially important this year because what you think you know may not be the case anymore.
“One of the reasons this is important is that due to this particular election cycle, there are many who live in a state that went through a redistricting process after the 2020 census. So the information on the candidates and votes contained in the website are fresh, new and constantly updated. And it’s important that members of the farming community support pro-farm candidates, and to find out more about those candidates, they can go to the website, and it will find the candidates in their particular districts.
There is also a place on this website, again fb.org/vote, where you can check to make sure you are registered to vote.
