Gen. Jack Keane, a Fox News strategic analyst, said the release of classified information regarding a possible Russian-led invasion of Ukraine has potentially opened the door to a diplomatic avenue. General Keane joined ‘The Faulkner Focus’ to discuss the latest news on the conflict, telling host Harris Faulkner that the release of key information has ‘put Putin’s information campaign’ on the ‘defensive’.

JACK KEANE: The information campaign by the United States, spreading classified information to dominate Russia in terms of what it is doing and revealing its actions, has largely put Russia on the defensive.
[Jake] Sullivan was up there saying the terms are set, they can attack at any time. In fact, there was a statement from a German newspaper that the attack was supposed to take place on Wednesday, but the publication of this information, classified information, which has been going on for weeks, I think, has put the campaign Putin’s information on the defensive, and I think that may have helped open the diplomatic channel here, and that’s going to be assessed for a while because the magnitude of it has never been done like that previously.
