Based at the Company’s global headquarters in Northville, Venkat is back with the company as a senior executive and will also join the Cooper Standard global leadership team. In his new role, Venkat will be responsible for leading Cooper Standard’s information technology (IT) function.

From 2016 to 2020, Venkat held positions of increasing responsibility at Cooper Standard, most recently as Global Vice President of IT.
Previously, he was the co-founder and COO of tech start-up InfoShuk. Previously, Venkat held senior IT leadership roles at Meritor, Masco Corp. and ProQuest. He started his career as a senior consultant at Oracle Corp.
Venkat obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Madras in India and a Master of Applied Science in Applied Mathematics from Guindy College of Engineering, India. In addition, he holds a Master of Science in Computational Mathematics and a PhD. in computational mathematics of University of Windsor in Canada. Venkat is a six sigma black belt and has also obtained several Leadership Certificates in Management, Program / Strategic Marketing and Program / Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
